Brickvention 2012

Yesterday (Sunday, 22 Jan 2012) I made the trek to Melbourne Town Hall with some friends for Brickvention 2012. The models were amazing, and I wish I could have spent more time there taking in all the detail. The hall was full, but not uncomfortably crowded. Here are some photos from the hall, but there were plenty more wonderful models that I did not manage to capture with my lousy iPhone camera skills:

Looking back at the photos I have, I have missed out on too many amazing builds: the 101 Collins Street replica, the roller-coaster, the Menger sponge, the TARDIS, the assortment of kick-posterior spaceships… Hopefully my friends took more photos and I’ll be able to link to them. I am always happy to be wowed by the creativity and dedication of LEGO fans, and Brickvention 2012 was no exception. Looking forward to Brickvention 2013 in the much larger venue!
