In this episode:
We get a little self-indulgent as we celebrate episode 100! Also, we try to give away a bunch of games to you but aren’t great at organizing it! Self deprecation isn’t as endearing when it’s actually an honest assessment of your own faults as they relate to providing value to others! This has gone on too long! In our roundup, Aaron talks about Ivar, Timewalker and Eternal Dynasty while Adam has a bone to pick with Ant-Man and Mission Impossible 5: Rogue Nation. Evan leads us on a discussion on anime figures and the anime aesthetic in general, and then we talk a little bit about our experiences with fan communities. Also don’t forget to check out details of how you can win some pretty cool board games below.

Also to have a shot at winning either Coconuts, Canalis or Lewis & Clark (my #5 game on my BGG profile for now), send us an email (mail@theactionpointspodcast.com) or leave a comment below and tell us your #5 favourite board game/video game/comic and why before 12 September 2015. We will pick our 3 favourites and you’ll get to choose which game you would like.
I believe Episode 17B was Adam’s first appearance on the podcast

Tabletop Games Design Australia
Full NelGrandeSon/El Grandre the Giant
#5 Favourite board game: Spartacus: A Game of Blood & Treachery
Was surprisingly fun and solid for a licensed game. Doesn’t alienate anyone who hasn’t seen the show but the experience is still richer for fans. The game has some flaws which got me thinking about what I would have done different and ultimately got me into board game design.
